On Saturday, March 9th, 2024, Tamar Community Wrestling (TCW) burst onto the scene with its first-ever live event at Saltash Social Club. Fans packed the venue to witness a night of hard-hitting action and exciting debuts, marking a new era of professional wrestling in Devon & Cornwall. This historic night featured a mix of established names and up-and-coming talent, all eager to make their mark on TCW. The atmosphere was electric, with the crowd fully invested in every match.

After pulling the referee in front of a charging Lucky – Country Big gets the victory over Lucky, in TCW’s first ever match, with his finisher the Full Nelson Slam. After the match Lucky was confronted by a (well dressed) mystery man with a pink umbrella who made an offer to Lucky that couldn’t be heard by anyone else in the venue.

This match started off with Brad Starr and H Hood agreeing on their dislike of the fans, the venue and even travelling on the day! With the threat of the match being called off – Alexander Grey, who was returning from a serious injury, grabbed a microphone before offering himself as a willing third participant for the match…

We’ll say one thing for Ollie Ocean, he’s got a big heart. However, this just wasn’t enough against the monster Big Papa Brady. His victory was never in doubt but just in case you wondered, Big Papa Brady picked up the victory after a Michinoku Driver on Ollie Ocean.
Tate Mayfairs vs Toby St. John
Toby St. John had the match won until “Country Big” Josh Knott came out to both distract the referee and throw Tate Mayfairs the brass knuckles that had been taken away from him at the start of the match. One brass knuckle assisted punch later and Tate Mayfairs got the tainted victory.
After the main event…
Country Big Josh Knott and Tate Mayfairs continued to beat down Toby St. John after the match until Alexander Grey came out and put a stop to it with a pair of big spears to both Country Big and Tate Mayfairs.
